    I, Isaac Denton Gray (age 58 years) being very feeble in body, but feeling perfectly sound in mind, do make this my last Will and Testament, to wit:
    To my beloved wife Louisa J. Gray,(note: this may be Levisa) I bequeath the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) in money. I bequeath to my only son James Melvin Gray, a team of one mare (Kit) and one horse named John, together with one set of harness and my best wagon. To my beloved and youngest daughter, Martha Jane Gray, I bequeath the sum of one hundred dollars in money. Each of the above bequests to be over and above an equal share in my Estate. I also give to my daughter Mary Dovey Ann George, 75 bushels of corn and 25 bushels of oats as her share of grain now on hand. To my wife and three single daughters, I give my large bay mare named Nell and the small bay mare or pony named Dolly, and buggy and harness. To my wife and children that are at home on my farm, I give my three cows and two red heifers, 32 head of sheep, 9 head of hogs and all the fowls, mower and binder, harrow, one hundred dollars in money and the provisions on hand with plenty of ___for the season.
    The balance of my personal estate, I bequeath equally to my wife and children, and I hereby appoint and request James F. Howell to be executor of this my last Will and Testament.
