    Notes for Wianna Smalley: Daughter of Philip and Sarah (Crudington) Smalley. She married second, Feb. 3, 1856, a man named Thomas Nipper, who brought the family to Marion Co., IL in 1857, apparentlythe same year her father-in-law moved his family to Lead Hill. Thomas and Vianna had 3 children, Philip, Marianne, and Emma. A small pox epidemic wiped out Thomas and Vianna Nipper and 3 young children they had. Philip and Mary Ann servived. The Nippers are buried in Mahon Cemetery later known as Platte Cemetery.
