New, never-before digitized Kirchenbücher for Kreis Greifenhagen are now online for free access. We were asked by a reader to look into the missing book from the Szczecin Archive for the village of Selchow from 1810 to 1848. Naturally, once stumbling upon the entire undigitized collection, we felt it pertinent to obtain not just that one book, but the whole collection of church books from Greifenhagen.

Unfortunately, the book for Selchow was never found in this effort. Those knowing more about its whereabouts are kindly asked to please reach out to us with more information. From the scans, it is assumed the previous catalog inventories mentioning it are actually referencing the neighboring book for Groß Schönfeld and Wilhelmswalde, whose date range is identical, erroneously showing that the book was for the village of Selchow.
