Brief History and Division of Land
Kreis Bublitz was formed in 1872 after Kreis Fürstenthum was disolved into three separate Kreise: Bublitz, Kolberg-Körlin, and Köslin. Kreis Bublitz was dissolved in 1932. The communities Groß Satspe, Klein Satspe and Neu Buckow were given to Kreis Belgard. The communities Bischofthum, Drensch, Grumsdorf, Kasimirshof, Linow, Sassenburg and Stepen were parted to Kreis Neustettin. The communities Groß Karzenburg, Hölkewiese and Klein Karzenburg were given to Kreis Rummelsburg. All other communities were incorporated into Kreis Köslin.
