One of our readers found a postcard of Battin in Kreis Belgard and was kind enough to send it to us. The card is dated April 1, 1939, mentioning that: “Das Schloß ist neue außer Lager.”

The postmark shows it was stamped in the neighboring Groß Rambin. The stamp bears the image of Otto von Bismarck.
