Burdette Burkhart

 One of her ancestors was baptized in Glasow in 1762. I have been researching my family that came from Pomerania for several decades and have recently returned to where my ancestors came from. Glasow was the community that my great-great-great grandfather Christian Borchert was born in 1762, and Gottfried Borchert and born in 1803. Krackow was the Community my great-grandfather August Borchert was born and baptized in in 1851. Dobberphul was where my great-grandmother Johanna Dube was born. My family immigrated to the US from Stettin, arriving in New York City on October 31, 1888, before settling in Saline County, Nebraska. The name Borchert was changed to Burkhart in 1903.
