Schwemmin, Köslin – Land Records (Grundbücher)
These land records cover the early owners in Schwemmin, Kreis Köslin. At least one other volume exists, but has not yet been digitized.
Schwemmin belonged to the Parsow Standesamt, but the Alt Marrin church parish. The Parsow Standesamt appears to have survived intact while the church books for Alt Marrin have been lost. Because of this, the Schwemmin Grundbuch provides an alternative source to recover some of the lost names and family lineages.
