The following photos were taken by my grandfather’s cousin sometime around 1994 during his visit back to Pommern. During this trip, he saw Kolberg and took numerous photos of the city, including the St. Marien Domkirche, Rathaus, Strand (beach), harbor, lighthouse, and streets. A lot has changed in Kolberg over 25 years, and the city is now teeming with people as an epicenter for culture and entertainment.

I am sharing these because his love of Pommern is what sparked my interest. I am certain that if he were alive today, he would want me to share these and his love of his Heimat with others.

R.I.P. dear cousin.
